JWT Decoder
Read a JWT's header, payload and dates, and check its signature.
Unix timestamp to date, duration conversion, the gap between two dates and the current time.
Pick a timestamp or a date, the result appears below.
Reading the current time from your browser.
Enter a duration, choose the units, the result updates as you type.
Read in your local time.
Your browser clock, refreshed every second.
Read a Unix timestamp as a date, turn a date back into a timestamp, convert a duration between units, measure the gap between two dates and copy the current time. Every calculation runs in your browser, so the values you paste never leave your device.
Paste a timestamp and the converter detects whether it is in seconds or milliseconds: more than eleven digits is read as milliseconds. Set the unit yourself when a value is ambiguous. The Date tab does the opposite, turning a calendar date into both timestamps. Switching tabs keeps the same instant, so you can check a conversion in both directions.
A date is read as wall clock time in the zone you select, among every zone your browser knows, and daylight saving is taken into account. A time that a spring transition skips, such as 02:30 in Paris on 29 March, is resolved to the instant the clock actually reached rather than failing. Results always show your local time, UTC, ISO 8601 and RFC 2822.
Convert between milliseconds, seconds, minutes, hours and days, then read the result broken down into days, hours, minutes and seconds. The gap between two dates is an absolute value: the order of the two dates does not matter, and the answer is given both as a breakdown and as a raw number of seconds.
The last card follows your browser clock and refreshes every second. Copy it as a timestamp in seconds, in milliseconds, or as an ISO 8601 string, which is what most APIs and logs expect. It is the quickest way to grab a timestamp for a test fixture or a database record.
The converter uses your browser clock and its built-in internationalization data. No timestamp, date or duration is sent to a server, and nothing is stored between visits.
