Folder to prompt

Turn a project folder into a single text, with its file tree and the content of each file, ready to send to an AI. Files are read in your browser.

1. Drop your project

A whole folder or a few files. Nothing is sent: everything is read in your browser.

Drag a folder hereor choose it on your computer

Dependencies (node_modules…), the .git folder, generated files, images and files that may hold secrets (.env) are left out automatically.

2. Choose the files

Tick what the AI should read. Fewer files means a more precise answer.

No project loaded

Load a project in step 1 first.

Drop a project in step 1 to see its files here.

Automatically excluded

Untick a rule to put its files back in the list. You can also tick an excluded file by hand.

Check that no selected file contains a password, an API key or personal data before sending it to an AI.

3. Add your request (optional)

It's placed after the files, where the AI pays the most attention to it.

Load a project in step 1 first.

Format

Turn it off to send only the project structure: the names of the files you ticked, with no code.

4. Copy the result

Paste it into ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or Le Chat, or download it to attach it.

Load a project in step 1 first.

The text to send to the AI will appear here: the tree, then each file with its path.

The number of tokens is an estimate, and each AI has its own limit: if the text is too long, untick files in step 2.

Give a whole project to an AI in one copy-paste

For an AI to understand a project, it has to see several files at once. This tool gathers them into a single text: the file tree, then each file with its path, in a code block, and your question at the end.

Only the files that matter

Dependencies, the .git folder, generated files, images and lock files are left out automatically, and so are files that may hold secrets, like .env. You stay in control: tick or untick whatever you want, filter the list, or switch a rule off.

Markdown or tags

The result can use Markdown headings and code blocks, or tags such as <file path="…"> that AIs read very well for large volumes. Both keep the tree first and your request last.

Your code never leaves your computer

The files are read by your browser and never sent to a server. You decide whether to paste the result into an AI, and which one.
